Underneath that awful paneling was this pretty wallpaper. Yes, it's red and black but so reminiscent of years past. Dan's nephew Bryan likened the pattern to a bandana.
When we get to the demo in this room, we're going to cut out a piece of this wallpaper underneath that we can frame and keep in honor of the house. I'm really pretty excited to see what else we find beneath these walls.
Renovation can be exhausting but little surprises like this are worth it!
